What is your understanding of gender?

I believe that gender is a person´s identification with one, mulitiple or no "group of sexes". Gender does not mean that a person needs to be either male or female but can be anything in between or outside the stereotypical gender binary.

What is your understanding of gender inequality?

Due to their judical system, values, norms etc., societies might treat people of a certain gender group differently than another and thus create a gender unequal society.

What is your personal opinion about gender non-binary?

To my was of thinking, every person has the right to deine their identity, which includes defining as "non-binar". The idea that gender can be divided into two distinct groups seems outdated.

What is your understanding of intersectionality?

My understanding of "intersectionality" is a person that Zombies at least two "unusual" traits in a society, which lead to this person experiencing a strenger form of discrimination than a person with only one trait would.

Can you name any significant inequalities in your country?

Germany still struggles with a gender pay gap regarding men and women, unjust educational opportunities for children from different social backgrounds and an outdated judical system that punishes software piracy more severely than sexual crime.

What are the 3 most important factors for a gender inclusive society?

Important factors for a gender inclusive society are education on genders, set rights, laws and guidelines to prevent discrimination and a judical system that ensures a society´s compliance with all legislation.
